A Prerelease celebrates the launch of a new set and is a players' first opportunity to explore what the set has to offer. Players open a Prerelease Pack, build a 40-card Sealed deck, and play with the set for the first time in a casual and fun environment.
When you register for a Prerelease event, you'll receive one of five themed Prerelease Packs. Each Prerelease Pack contains the following:
5 Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters
1 Seeded Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Character Booster
Each Character Booster is themed around a different Avatar: The Last Airbender character and a Magic color.
2 Non-foil double-sided tokens themed to your Prerelease Pack's color
1 Traditional foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare
1 Spindown die themed to your Prerelease Pack's color
There are five versions of the Prerelease Pack for Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender, each featuring a different character: Aang, Katara, Azula, Zuko, and Toph. Each includes a seeded Play Booster themed for the same character.
You will receive an extra-large dice bag as a reward for registering with your Wizards Account (guest account registrations are ineligible) and participating in two or more Prerelease events. These collectible dice bags feature dye-sublimated printings of each of the five characters from the Prerelease Packs and are large enough to store cards, counters, and more.
